JSC ETC GET opened School of Simulation at the first university of Kuban


On September 29, the fourth School of Simulation of the Engineering and Technology Center GET was opened at the Kuban State Technical University (KubSTU) on the basis of the Institute of Oil, Gas and Energy.

The School of Simulation is designed to promote the development of talented youth, i.e. senior students of KubSTU seeking professional development in Russian mathematical simulation, and is also aimed at training specialists to work with the domestic technology of simulator building, created and used for 30 years by the Engineering and Technology Center GET. As part of the training, students will learn to develop models of power facilities and processes, create digital twins, conduct virtual tests of the designed equipment, while gaining broad digital skills.

Training at the School will be carried out on the basis of the REPEAT software complex which is a model-oriented design and mathematical simulation environment. REPEAT is a completely import-independent development of the Engineering and Technology Center GET which is used by design institutes, design bureaus and educational institutions to create a sovereign information environment.

As part of the School of Simulation class opening, an introductory lecture was held for KubSTU students on the topic “Repeat model-oriented design and simulation environment”, the speaker was Sergey Bukreev, director of GET LAB LLC.

The School of Simulation at KubSTU has joined a number of engineering and mathematical schools opened by JSC ETC GET as part of the creation of a system for training qualified personnel with developed digital skills in partnership with Russian leading universities. They currently include Kazan State Energy University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, Don State Technical University.
