JSC ETC GET will supply simulators to Primorskaya and Pregolskaya TPPs
JSC Inter RAO summed up its tender for the development of a full-scope simulator and analytical complex for Primorskaya TPP electrical shop as well as full-scope simulator for Pregolskaya TPP electrical shop. Both TPPs are generating assets of the Inter RAO Group combined into JSC Inter RAO – Electric Power Plants. JSC ETC GET was recognized as the winner of the tenders. The total duration of the project is 13 months.
Simulators developed by JSC ETC GET engineers for Primorskaya and Pregolskaya TPPs will be used for training electrical shop operating personnel and their examination. Such simulators look like a computer complex comprising trainees workstations and an instructor station.
Due to their implementation, it will be possible to simulate training according to various scenarios, including normal operation and accidents. The personnel will gradually develop professional skills in making and executing decisions on equipment control in real time.
It is difficult to overestimate the benefits of working on JSC ETC GET simulators. Their operation will reduce the number of abnormal situations that arise due to the fault of the plant personnel and increase economic efficiency in the future.
