Industry Center for Export Control of Rosatom State Corporation established based on Rusatom Service JSC

In order to improve the efficiency of the industry-specific export control system, the Industry Center for Export Control (ICEC) was established on the basis of Rusatom Service JSC. Rosatom SC General Director A.E. Likhachev signed the corresponding order on January 12, 2023.

ICEC was assigned the industry-wide task of creating, together with the industry laboratories for export control (ILEC), a center of expertise for identification and support of export control procedures during foreign economic activity for the industry organizations which is independent of external resources.

Computerization of export control processes in the industry is another key task of the ICEC. This task is also implemented with the expert support of the ILEC as the key bearers of identification skills and methodologists of the KKS handbook for the purposes of its use in optimization of nuclear export procedures. At the moment, seven Rosatom organizations conduct pilot operation of the information system for export control process management DIRECT.Compliance. ICEC is responsible for organizational support of the system operation, its update and development of requirements.

Rosatom SC International Relations Unit is responsible for overall coordination of export control activities.
