Preventive maintenance of Unit 3 of Tianwan NPP completed

April 19, 2020 was marked by a significant event for the Tianwan NPP. Unit 3 was connected to the general power grid of China after a mid-planned repair. Despite the restrictive measures associated with the widespread spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19, the entire scope of work was completed in just 31 days, ahead of schedule. The unit was successfully repaired by JNPC with constant remote support from Rusatom Service JSC and our Russian partners. This became possible thanks to the professionalism, skillful organization and well-coordinated work of Russian and Chinese specialists. For more effective interaction with a foreign customer, contact working groups were created in each area: mechanics, monitoring and control systems, industrial television, metal and weld control. Timely provision of services was carried out remotely: using video conferencing and other means of communication, subject to all necessary safety standards. Completion of scheduled preventive maintenance would have been impossible without technical support from JSC Rusatom Service and 8 Russian enterprises: RADIKO, NRC Kurchatov Institute, SNIIP-Systematom, Atommashexport, Izhora Plants, NIITFA , JSC "NIIPT" Rastr "," DIAKONT ".
