A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WAS SIGNED WITH ALSTOM POWER SYSTEMS AND TURBINE TECHNOLOGY AAEM

On December, 6, 2019, Rusatom Service JSC signed a memorandum of business cooperation with General Electric’s Alstom Power Systems and Turbine Technology AAEM LLC (joint venture of Atomenergomash JSC and General Electric). This marked an important milestone in strengthening Akkuyu NPP design partnership.
The parties will cooperate in organization of turbine hall joint service as part of Akkuyu NPP design. This is the first nuclear power plant of the Republic of Turkey founded near Mersin.
Rusatom Service JSC, Alstom Power Systems and Turbine Technology AAEM plan on stepping up their cooperation in terms of service projects for all foreign NPP of Russian design that use Alstom turbines; cooperation is also to be strengthened in other areas.

The company provides full range of services and supplies required for maintenance and repair for the foreign nuclear power plants that operate VVER-type reactors.
