JSC Rusatom Service won an open tender for the modernization of neutron flux monitoring equipment for power units 5 and 6 of Kozloduy NPP

The Rusatom Service JSC team is pleased to announce that participation in the open tender announced in September 2019 was crowned with success. As a result, a contract was signed for the modernization of the neutron flux monitoring equipment (NFMF) for power units No. 5 and 6 of the Kozloduy NPP. NFMM plays an essential role in NPP safety and is designed to work in the control and protection system (CPS) of a pressurized water-cooled power reactor The modernization of the NFMM is a project of particular importance - therefore, the chief designer of Kozloduy NPP reactors, OKB GIDROPRESS JSC, and the project's scientific director, NRC Kurchatov Institute, will be involved in the preparation of working and technical documentation. The main equipment manufacturer will be the Russian company SNIIP-Systematom, which has all the necessary references and experience in implementing such projects. In the piggy bank of implemented projects of JSC Rusatom Service for NPP Kozloduy, there are already such large-scale tasks as extending the life of power units No. 5 and 6, as well as modernizing the generating equipment to increase the capacity to 104% of Nnom.
