Projects
One of the projects on rendering engineering services is a contract with Euroasian Energy Corporation JSC (Republic of Kazakhstan)..Rusatom Service JSC, as the leader of the Consortium of Russian and Kazakh companies, has been carrying out a set of design and survey works on the facility since September 2021: “Reconstruction of EEK JSC Power Unit No.8 in Aksu, Republic of Kazakhstan”.
Rusatom Service JSC also conducted HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), RAM analysis (Reliability Availability Maintenance), quantitative analysis of risk impact on project schedule and cost (CSRA), as well as investment efficiency assessment, including development of a financial and economic model. The design also included extensive monitoring of the market for suppliers and equipment needed to complete the basic design.
The equipment performance indicators shall be achieved during the project implementation with the emission norm on mass concentration of solid particles in flue gases not more than 20 mg/nm3, which is unique not only for the Republic of Kazakhstan, but in general is one of the lowest indicators in the world practice.
A comprehensive external examination in the Republic of Kazakhstan is expected in 2024, based on the results of which the Customer will make a decision to perform works on power unit reconstruction.
