Lifetime extension of Power Unit No. 2

The stage of Armenian NPP Power Unit No. 2 systems, structures and components (SSC) examination has been completed. The stage of development and approval of individual reports on SSC examination was completed at the end of December 2015. SSC examination stage covered inspection of about 4.5 thousand units of systems, structures, components, including generator equipment, turbine set, pumps, etc.

Goal of project

Ensure power safety of the Republic of Armenia by implementing a set of measures aimed at restoring life and extending Armenian NPP lifetime for another 10 years.

Results of project

Obligations related to documentation development and works performance on substages “Development of administrative and technical documentation” and “Development and approval of individual programs” have been fulfilled.
